SAMPLES

All the samples of this collection were created using the human voice as a source material. Four different beat-boxers (three men, one woman) were sampled, and plenty of microphones, preamps and studio gear were used to provide a surprising palette of beatbox sounds:


API PUNCH (159 samples)
Great kicks, hi-hats, and snares, original percussive sounds and vocal effects, very 'dry', 'in your face' sound
recorded with EV RE20 plugged into API 312

DAN (43 samples)
Funky tones, bass and breathy sounds along with all the usual percussive human beatbox sounds.
Recorded with SM7 and C414 into Avalon 737

NGO (21 samples)
Great powerful kicks and snares, nice breathing effects
Recorded with U87 into Avalon 737

NIL (77 samples)
Great collection of snares, clean kicks, tight hihats
Recorded with U87 into Avalon 737

MAE (100 samples)
Beautiful musical tones, nice punchy hihats, tons of sweet and surprising female vocal effects (kiss, breathing, laughing, percussive tongue sounds…)
Recorded with AKG C414 into Avalon 737 and TLM102 into UA 6176

BULLET (69 samples)
A great, analog crunchy sound, perfect to integrate into mixes
Nice tight snares and kicks, lofi hats and tones
Recorded with a Shure 'Green Bullet' Microphone into the DI of a UA6176.

FILTER (37 samples)
Very modern, original, punchy sounds, with filter sweeps, great resonance and saturation
Recorded live using a Shure sm58 into a Focusrite RED7 into a Line6 Filter Pro FX and using Wow! plugin in Cubase

FISHER LOFI (35 samples)
Using a toy cassette recorder with its own microphone and its funky built-in octaver/vocoder with 5 presets (robot, UFO, monster….).
Crazy low-fi sounds, over-the-top distortion, lots of highly original sounds!

REAMPED SAMPLES (55 samples)
A selection of raw samples were reamped using both analog gear and digital tools to create new, inspiring sounds. Using combinations of pitch shifting, EQ, compression and saturation.

IR SAMPLES (17 samples)
17 custom Impulse Responses used for the convolution reverb of Kontakt

LOOPS

You'll find over 120 loops in the folder Beatbox Pack Loops. All loops are audio files, stereo WAV, 24bit, 48kHz.
Each loop was created using only one drum kit from the Kontakt kits. Their tempo varies from 67 to 189BPM.
Please use your DAW's stretching functions to adjust the loops' BPM to your project's tempo.
